The firm is committed to helping families get the best possible education for their child without compromising on retirement planning or quality of life. Helping clients make informed and intelligent financial decisions at this critical time in their financial lives can lead to greater long-term financial security.

Steven D. Wightman guides families, business owners, professionals, and retirees in the areas of comprehensive financial planning, education planning, and money management. Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Rivier College in Nashua, New Hampshire.

He has undergone extensive advanced training in client services with Coach Bill Bachrach to distinguish himself as a Trusted Advisor. Steve received further training from “the father of life planning,” George Kinder. He understands the need clients have to integrate the financial aspects of their lives with their rest of their lives, so Steve offers an integrated holistic planning approach in which he helps clients define their priorities, set goals, and implement highly effective strategies designed to enhance the quality of life everyday.

Steve retired from the military in 1997 after completing 25 years of military service. His experience in the armed forces taught him about leadership and the benefits of discipline and hard work.

  • He is listed as among “America’s Best Financial Planners” in 2005 with the independent consumer group, Consumer Research Institute, Washington, DC. Only a handful of people have received this honor.

  • He was a contributing book author of Tips from the Tops, (Targeted Advice from America’s Top Money Minds) by Alpha Books.

  • He has made numerous media appearances and he has often been quoted in various media such as Kiplinger’s, Bloomberg Personal Finance, the Wall Street Journal, Financial Advisor Magazine, AARP Magazine, as well as a feature article in Boston Magazine and on the cover of Investment Advisor magazine. More recently, he was interviewed for the April 2005 issue of Financial Advisor magazine. The latter two are trade journals read by financial professionals across America.
